Hello, my name is Ray Charles...

Our goal at Ray's House of Hope (RHH) is to assist senior pets who find themselves homeless through no fault of their own.  Most shelters and rescue groups do not accept homeless senior pets because we often have senior health issues and not everyone wants to adopt a senior pet.

We have already been taught the household basics, we do not require as much activity as the younger pets and we have a vast amount of experience with love and patience.
As the inspiration for RHH, I am one of those orphaned seniors.  Life has not been easy.  I was born blind and my family passed away.  I was an orphaned, blind senior cat and no one wanted me.  A wonderful woman named Mary heard of my plight and adopted me.  I immediately went to a new home with other senior cats as well as those with special needs.

We've had the best of care and all the love we could have ever imagined with Mary.  Unfortunately, our beautiful Mary passed away before her time.   As a way to honor her I founded Ray's House of Hope, Inc. (with the help of a few kind friends) so her vision for senior and special needs pets could live on.  We are an all volunteer organization and rely on donations for our care.

OUR MISSION:  Providing for senior pets in need through foster care,

adoption, education, and family life planning for their pets.

Ray's House of Hope, Inc. is registered as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Contributions to RHH are tax deductible to the extent permitted by law. RHH's tax identification number is 85-0955643
