Yes, I am Lady Marmalade from the song.  A lovely name compared to a previous name.  I am the cat formerly know as R.C. short for "refrigerator cat".  For years I lived on top of a refrigerator and only came down for the necessities.  I became a member of Ray's House, along with several siblings after our mama passed away last year.

         I chose to cower on top of the refrigerator because I was afraid of EVERYTHING.  No one could touch me because I was so quick on my feet.  

            Once I was at Ray's House I was coaxed every day to let someone touch me.  Uncle Art was the first, then Uncle Dennis and then very slowly anyone else who offered a gentle hand,  I am still a bit hesitant, but I have discovered that pets and scratches feel sooo good.
